"PRINTMAKING ART TECHNIQUES. GRAPHIC ART" CAJA GRANADA COLLECTION

Caja Granada, in collaboration with Benalmadena Town Hall, presents the magnificent exhibition “Printmaking Art Techniques. Graphic Art.” of Caja Granada Collection of Fine Art, which includes a large selection of more than fifty engravings dated between the XVth and the XXIst centuries.

Artists, as renowned and varied as Hoefnagel, Munch, Picasso, Braque, Ernst, Miro, Warhol, Lichestein, Kandinsky, Bacon, Chillida, Saura, and Kovatchev, among many others, testify with their work the importance of engraving through the centuries, as well as the variety of graphic styles and techniques used, such as lithography, etching, mezzotint and woodcut.

Through a unique array of activities and expositions displayed in the its Exhibition Centre, the Department of Culture at Benalmadena Town Hall has been doing an exceptional work for the popularization and accessibility of culture.
